A trusted industry resource, providing clear, concise guidance on how to create high-quality BIM content that aligns with recognised standards and best practices.

We understand that many manufacturers wish to create their own content. Many of these manufacturers are new to BIM and the standards and terminology used in the industry. We have produced The Bimstore Bible to be a plain language guide for BIM content authoring, which is aligned to terminology and functionality of a manufacturers chosen BIM authoring platform.
Content that is built in accordance with the Bimstore Bible will meet and exceed current industry standards. We keep the bible updated to industry standards and future developments.
The Bimstore Bible is not a standard - we bring together the relevant industry standards around BIM content into a single software-specific guide for producing quality content that aligns to industry-recognised standards.

Hi John, Thanks for your comment. We have contacted Albion who have provided us with their updated dimensions. The content will be updated very soon. Thanks

Is there any quality control undertaken on your output? The model for Albion valve ART 50 is completely incorrect. Is this an isolated incident or is it systematic of all output from BIM Store. Can I trust any output from BIM Store? I'm pretty sure that Albion as a company will not be impressed with what they were charged for.

Your bimstore bible is a very good read which I recommend to everyone using revit - even if I they do no family modelling. Very thorough.
One glitch I stumbled upon: The bimstore bible refers to an Appendix 2 in its Appendix 1. (page 53) The version I downloaded only had one appendix. Are there template files somewhere or a breakdown of them as suggested by the Content creation checklist?
