Interlocking Tile Ventilator for thin leading edge roof tiles

Introducing the new Venta-Line TLE, a flat interlocking, low profile tile ventilator designed to deliver airflow to the roof space. With a flexible application either as ventilation for condensation control, a terminal for soil pipe ventilation or a mechanical extract, the Venta-Line TLE is specifically engineered to integrate seamlessly in line with the adjacent roof tiles. Suited for use with the majority of thin leading edge, large format concrete tiles*, the vent is designed to replace a single roof tile whilst maintaining a consistent and aesthetic appearance across the roof line.

Developed with a high performance in mind, the TLE vent provides continuous airflow, with a  minimum geometric free ventilation area of 10,000 mm², helping to meet the requirements of BS 5250. It can be installed at both high and low level and also in areas where the roof construction does not allow for eaves or ridge ventilation. By providing ventilation across the roof, the Venta-Line TLE helps to deliver a healthy and well-ventilated roof space, with built-in weather protection ensuring any rainwater is safely channelled away, helping to strengthen the roof’s long-term durability.

Glidevale Protect has created two handy visual technical guides to help you choose the correct ventilation strategy for your projects:

• Suitable for roofs with a pitch of 20° and above.
• An interlocking slimline design tested with commonly used thin edge roof tiles.
• Unobtrusive profile with an integrated flush grille ensures the vent is virtually unseen from the ground.
• The integrated lower tray is engineered to channel rainwater away from the throat of the vent and back down onto the roof tiles, ensuring no ponding of water.
• Concealed baffles catch any wind driven rain or snow that might penetrate the grille and return it via positive drainage channels to the roof slope.
• Integral 4 mm spaced grille to prevent the ingress of nesting insects.
• Manufactured using UV stabilised uPVC with embedded silica sand to generate a surface that weathers in line with the rest of the roof covering.
• Made in the UK using recycled content.**
• *Venta-Line TLE has been fit tested and is compatible with many leading thin leading edge roof tiles, including Russell Galloway, Condron Senior TLE, Marley Edgemere, Northstone Causeway, and Redland Richmond 10. The vent is not designed to be compatible with the Sandtoft Danum TLE or Dual Danum TLE roof tiles.
