Description

The Kerto-Ripa panel is a structural engineered timber building element made from glued Kerto members. It is used to create the ground, intermediate floors and roofs of residential, commercial and public buildings. Kerto-Ripa can be used in both thermo-insulated structures and non-insulated structures

Roofing solutionsKerto-Ripa TM panels are an ideal solution for flat or low pitch roofs, and can be designed to the client's thermal requirements. Long clear spans (up to 18m*) are available allowing buildings to be constructed with fewer columns and beams creating greater design flexibility.

Flooring solutionsKerto-Ripa TM panels are also suitable for both ground and intermediate floors delivering clear spans of up to 9m. The panel is pre-fabricated to allow quick and simple installation, easily accommodating co-ordinated services within the floor zone. For cases where increased acoustic performance is required, The SoundBar System can be added to exceed building regulations.

Structural PerformanceStructural performance of the Kerto-RIPA elements is considered in accordance with the limit state design principles specified in Eurocodes. These methods follow EN 1995-1-1.
Suitable ApplicationKerto-RIPA elements are used as floor and roof construction. For roof construction a single ply membrane can be applied in the factory that is then lapped on site during the Kerto-RIPA installation.
Suitable FinishesKerto-RIPA elements can be painted or stained. The suitability of the treatment shall be checked with the manufacturer of it.

Water vapour permeability and moisture resistanceKerto-RIPA elements may contain thermal insulation in cavities. The construction resembles a timber frame construction whare any moisture possibly coming into the cavities is ventilated or will be removed by diffusion. In cases where resistance to fire is required, ventilation cavities may require fire stops according to separate design.

This model is not functioning properly in Revit 2019. Only the other ribs are working. The 0 to 3 ribs that should be in the centre are not showing up.
