Earlier this year, Bimstore turned 15. Now, we’re sharing Issue 15 of BIMCRUNCH, bringing together manufacturer insight, project stories, platform updates and product knowledge from across the globe. As we reach the midpoint of 2026, there is a nice symmetry to this edition of BIMCRUNCH.
It has been a busy few months for Bimstore. We’ve introduced new areas of the platform, including our CPD section, created to make manufacturer training easier to find, and Vue, our new product configurator, designed to help communicate more complex product ranges with greater clarity. We’ve published 13 new collections, shared more than 80 insights articles, and rolled out a dedicated Firestopping page, bringing related products, manufacturers and technical content into one place.
This edition reflects that same mix of practical information and industry perspective.
Inside, we open with a look at designing for wellbeing, covering lighting, acoustics, biophilia and comfort in the built environment. Schweigen continues the focus on acoustics with an article on why sound matters in modern home design, particularly as homes become more open and multifunctional.
