For Bimstore, this recertification reflects both our role within the Group and a continued focus on supporting a more responsible built environment. Through the platform, we aim to make better information more accessible, helping designers and specifiers make informed decisions earlier in the process.
B Corp recertification is intentionally rigorous. It requires detailed evidence across governance, environmental performance and day-to-day operations, all independently verified. Following submission, companies enter an audit phase led by B Lab’s approved assurance providers, ensuring that the recertification standards are fully met.
This aligns closely with how we already work. Environmental responsibility is embedded into the content we create and the platform we maintain. By integrating Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs), embodied carbon data and operational insights into BIM objects, we support more informed specification and a clearer understanding of product impact. By making this information accessible at the earliest stages of design, we help influence specification decisions when they matter most. This reduces reliance on assumptions or incomplete information, enabling more confident and responsible choices.
We also work closely with manufacturers, helping showcase the quality and visibility of their product data while supporting their own sustainability ambitions. This includes encouraging greater transparency, as well as practical improvements such as reducing environmental impact throughout product lifecycles. In doing so, we help raise the standard of product information across the industry, encouraging greater consistency and transparency.
Being part of a B Corporation reflects a shared approach across Space Group. Many of the manufacturers we work with align with this mindset, creating an opportunity to collectively support a more accountable and better-informed industry. Better data leads to better decisions, and ultimately better-performing buildings. Our role is not just to host content, but to support a shift towards more informed, lower-impact outcomes across the built environment.
