May 3rd–9th marks Hedgehog Awareness Week, an initiative established by The British Hedgehog Preservation Society. This year’s theme, Taking the Hedgehog Pledge,’ encourages the public to create, improve, and protect wild spaces, ensuring hedgehogs have easy access to shelter and water.
