That’s why for the second consecutive year, wienerberger has partnered with the Manchester School of Architecture (MSA) at Manchester Metropolitan University to philanthropically fund a bursary programme that exemplifies commitment to the future of sustainable and innovative design.

Cultivating Skills for Success

The RIBA Part 3 Bursary Programme is designed to support students completing the Postgraduate Certificate in Architecture and Contemporary Practice (RIBA Part 3). This programme is a defining step toward professional qualification for architects in the UK, requiring rigorous academic and practical engagement. wienerberger’s initiative offers a bursary of £1,000 to selected students, alleviating financial burdens and allowing them to focus more fully on their studies and professional development.

For the 2024/25 academic year, six exceptional students were chosen to receive this bursary, continuing the programme’s success following its initial launch for the 2023/24 cohort. The bursary selects candidates based on three key criteria: those facing significant or unexpected financial hardships, individuals who have demonstrated exceptional academic performance and early career success, and applicants with a keen passion for sustainable and innovative brick construction.
