Submitting your Sustainability data to Bimstore allows your products to be found, and specified based on their sustainability credentials.
An Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) is a standardised document that provides quantifiable environmental data about a product based on life cycle assessment (LCA). It follows internationally recognised standards such as ISO 14025 and EN 15804. Manufacturers can not self-certify and an EPD is certified by a 3rd party, allowing specifiers to be sure of your product environmental credentials. You can submit your Type II & Type III EPDs to Bimstore making your products stand out amongst others.
To show your sustainability data on Bimstore, you must submit your Sustainability Data (an LCA) and submit it when you upload your EPD Document to your product listing. If you have an EPD that covers multiple products, you can create a single LCA Dataset and attach it it to each product when uploading your EPD.
Step 1 - Creating a LCA Dataset
Step 2 - Submitting the LCA Dataset when uploading an EPD Document.
Our team will review your document and the attached LCA to ensure both align. Once approved your EPD document and the LCA Data will be shown against your listing on Bimstore.
If you wish to update your LCA Dataset or EPD you must update the LCA Dataset infomation and then resubmit it with the updated document as 'Step 2 above' above.
