FIREFLYSpan is a linear gap sealing system comprising graphite intumescent and foam strips, designed for fire-rated control joints and linear gaps in walls and floors.

Supplied in 1m lengths, FIREFLYSpan compresses within prepared joint openings and friction-fits into the joint.

Available profiles:

• FIREFLYSpan 50 – suitable for joints from 25–50 mm
• FIREFLYSpan 75 x 75 – suitable for joints from 35–75 mm
• FIREFLYSpan 75 x 100 – suitable for joints from 35–75 mm
• FIREFLYSpan 100 – suitable for joints from 51–100 mm

Applications

FIREFLYSpan is a movement-capable control joint and linear gap sealing system for use in fire-resisting wall and floor constructions.

Typical applications include vertical and horizontal control joints, body-of-wall movement joints, slab-to-wall interfaces, floor slab control joints, perimeter slab edge configurations, and linear gap seals within and between separating elements.

FIREFLYSpan systems are suitable for use in concrete, masonry, AAC, CLT, and plasterboard-lined timber or steel framed constructions, subject to the relevant tested system configuration.
